Schmidt, Robert (21 May 1937 - 29 March 2006)

Robert Schmidt, age 68,of Chili died on Wednesday, March 29,2006 at his home in the town of Fremont, Clark Co.

Robert was born on May 21,1937 in Auburndale, to William and Anna (Krause) Schmidt. Bobby lived in the Chili area for over 30 years. He spent much of his time with the Stichert families, working with Belgian horses and enjoying life on the farm. He took pleasure in the simple joys of life-coffee, candy, cheese, beer and chewing tobacco. He held a special fondness for his cats and they will miss his tender loving care.

He is survived by his brothers, Clifford Schmidt, of LaCrosse; and Allan (Darleen) Schmidt, of Marshfield.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Wallace, Sidney, Clarence, and Lloyd Schmidt; and his sisters, Eleanor Weinfurtner, Margaret Stark and Irma Gereaaux.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 3,at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield. Rev. Mark A Krueger officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery ,Marshfield.
